The 40V max XGT Brushless 4-Speed Impact Driver (GDT02Z) breaks new ground for the most demanding driving applications in wood, masonry, and metal. The 4-Speed Impact Driver features a digitally controlled Tightening Mode (T-mode) for faster tightening of self-drilling screws which helps prevent damage to the screw or workpiece.

It is powered by a Makita-built brushless motor that delivers 1,860 in.lbs. of Max Torque, outpowering other impact drivers in heavy-load applications. An ultra-smooth variable speed trigger provides optimum control. Users get 4 speed settings (0-1,100/ 0-2,100/ 0-3,200/ 0-3,700 RPM & 0-1,400/ 0-2,600/ 0-3,600/ 0-4,100 IPM).

This impact driver is a workhorse tool engineered to outlast with Extreme Protection Technology (XPT) to provide increased dust and water resistance in harsh job site conditions. Reinforced gear housing provides additional durability on the job site.

Convenience features include a compact length at only 4-3/4″ which makes it ideal for working in tight spaces. The GDT02Z features a reinforced gear housing engineered for maximum job site durability. It features two LED lights for increased job sight visibility.
